Q: What are the hours?
A: Camp is open Monday through Friday from 8:45am – 4:00pm. There are also early dropoff and late pickup options available. Staff are required to be at camp by 8:15am and are able to leave after camper pickup is completed

Q: What would I be paid?
A: Compensation varies depending on role and experience level. Details can be found in our job listings or contact the director for more information.

Q: Is there a dress code?
A: We do not require staff to wear uniforms, but staff are expected to dress appropriately for an active outdoor camp environment. Most counselors wear shorts, a t-shirt, and sneakers or other closed-toe active shoes. Tank tops are allowed as long as they are full coverage.

– For safety and professionalism, all female counselors and swim instructors are required to wear one-piece swimsuits while working at the pool. As you’ll often be in the water with campers — who may climb, splash, and play actively — this ensures comfort, coverage, and helps prevent any accidental wardrobe issues during swim time.

Q: Do I need prior camp experience to apply?
A: Not necessarily. We value energy, kindness, responsibility, and willingness to learn – prior experience is great, but not required for all positions.

Q: Will I get to choose what age group or activity I work with?
A: We do our best to match you with your preferences based on your experience and the needs of camp.

Q: Is there a minimum age requirement?
A: Staff must be at least 16 or 17+ depending on position. Leadership roles require applicants to be 18+ and may require prior experience.

Q: Can I take a vacation while camp is in session?
A: We ask that you  not take a vacation during the camp 8-week session.
