Q: Where is the camp located?
A: Holiday Mountain Day Camp is a new summer camp in the Sullivan County Catskills area located in Monticello, NY. It’s hosted onsite at Holiday Mountain Ski Area conveniently less than half a mile off highway Route 17.
Q: What should my camper bring to camp each day?
A: Campers should arrive each day with a backpack, refillable water bottle, closed-toe shoes (required), a hat, a change of clothes, and a light sweatshirt or raincoat, depending on the weather.
-Please be sure to label all items with your camper’s first and last name
Q: What should be in my camper’s backpack for camp?
A: Campers should have bug spray, sunscreen, a bathing suit, a beach/swim towel, and slip-on shoes for the pool area packed in their backpack each day.
Q: What items are NOT PERMITTED at camp?

- Toys from home
Q: Are campers allowed to have cellphones?
A: The short answer is no, but here is why: the whole point of camp is to get outside, play sports and different activities, socialize with other campers, and ultimately enjoy and embrace the authentic day camp experience.
– If a camper needs to get a hold of a parent or guardian and vice versa, our main office staff will be able to call the parent/guardians.
– We will also have a full-time photographer who will be taking photos of campers during sports and activities to share with parents/families on a daily basis.
Q: What do you do at camp when it rains?
A: We have several buildings that are equipped for indoor sports and activities on rainy days to keep the campers active and having fun, despite the weather.
