Program Instructor/Directors

Art Instructor: Responsible for planning and instructing arts and crafts for campers of all ages for the duration of camp.

  • Hourly Range: $16 – $18

Cooking Instructor: Responsible for coming up with and teaching camper-friendly recipes for campers of all ages for the duration of camp. **Must be at least 18 years of age.

Outdoor Activities Director: Responsible for leading the Mountain Adventure Program and planning age-appropriate activities—such as scavenger hunts, nature walks, and group bonding challenges—for campers of all ages throughout the camp season. **Must be at least 18 years of age.

Athletic Director: Responsible for leading all activities and sports during the camp season on the multipurpose field and other courts as necessary. Expected to set up for games such as soccer, football, relay races, etc.

Aquatics Director: Responsible but not limited to the following responsibilities in the pool area: 

  • Train and supervise all aquatics staff including their lifeguard certifications.
  • Provide ongoing skill refreshers to aquatics staff throughout the camp season.
  • Teach and implement the American Red Cross Swim Instruction curriculum.
  • Assign aquatics staff to camper swim groups for instructional swim.
  • Administer deep water tests to assess camper swimming ability.
  • Ensure certified lifeguards are in chairs and actively supervising during all swim periods (instructional and free swim).
  • Conduct daily inspections of the pool and surrounding area to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Implements and oversees a buddy system. 
  • Supervise the daily operations of the pool area to ensure the utmost safety for staff and campers. 

**Must be at least 21 years of age and meet one of the following experience criteria: 

  1. 2 seasons experience consisting of at least 12 weeks as a children’s camp lifeguard at a pool or beach which had more than one lifeguard supervising it at a time. or;
  2. 18 weeks of previous experience as a lifeguard at a pool or beach, which had more than one lifeguard supervising it at a time.

Aquatics Staff

Our Aquatics staff lead both swim instruction and lifeguard duties and must be 18 or older. While previous lifeguard experience is preferred, certification can be provided through the American Red Cross after hiring.

Our team ensures a safe, well-supervised pool environment while teaching swimming skills to campers of all levels-from beginners to advanced swimmers. This role requires focus, responsibility, and a positive attitude to keep everyone safe and having fun in the water.

  • Season pay range: $2,500 – $2,700

Counselors

We’re looking for energetic, positive role models to join our team as Camp Counselors! You’ll be responsible for leading a group of up to 12 boys or girls through their daily  schedule- playing games, participating in activities, and most importantly, making sure everyone is safe, supported, and having a great time!

Counselors help create the camp magic by keeping kids engaged, handling minor conflicts, and setting a great example every day. We’re looking for energetic, responsible leaders who enjoy working with children and know how to take their role seriously – while still having tons of fun! To join our team as a counselor, you must be at least 16 years old.

  • Season pay range: $2,000 – $2,500

Kitchen Staff

We’re hiring kitchen staff to help serve lunch and snacks to our campers and staff each day. No prior experience is required, but you must be at least 18 years old or older.

Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals, handing out snacks, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and assisting with food deliveries when needed. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep camp running smoothly and can stay on top of cleanliness and food safety throughout the day.
